Catholic Community Services has just opened a winter shelter in Auburn, which is open to adult men and women only and has the capacity to serve up to 50 people at a time. Catholic Community Services has a staff person visiting the Ray of Hope Resource Center two days a week to meet with clients and do intakes.
Those seeking shelter are requested to visit the Ray of Hope Resource Center in Auburn for intake, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-1pm, where they will then be given the location of the actual shelter after registration is completed. Outside of those hours the staff at Ray of Hope can provide intake paperwork and complete the process and will contact CCS to see if there are openings.
Eligible clients can visit the Ray of Hope Resource Center Monday through Friday, 10:30am-4pm at 2536 I St NE, Auburn, WA 98002. Please note they do not provide overnight shelter services.
The night time shelter will be open from 8:45pm-7am and accepts service/companion/comfort animals and will request documentation.
