AIGA Seattle, a national organization for design professionals, runs a program called the Changemaker Series, which forms creative teams and pairs them up with nonprofit and change organizations locally to tackle a design challenge that organization may have. They are in their fourth year and have worked on causes ranging from food access to homelessness, to supporting local immigrants and refugees. This year they are focusing on youth.
They are searching for nonprofits and social change organizations to apply to be clients as part of the series. Additionally, they are looking for committed clients who want to devote time to the series, be educational partners and receive creative consultation project work using human-centered design practices.
The deadline to submit applications is this Sunday, March 11, 2018. While this information was sent to us today, we figured it might still be a good opportunity for some organizations.
