The 2018 Youth Resource Exchange is a day devoted to connecting youth and young adults experiencing homelessness in King County with immediate access to the services and resources they need. In one place and on one day, guests enjoy a hot meal and have access to free health services, haircuts, public benefits, employment & education resources, care packages, and much more.
United Way of King County in conjunction with Count Us In and All Home, the Community Resource Exchange will also administer Count Us In surveys. Count Us In is King County’s annual effort to count youth and young adults (YYA) ages 12-26 who are homeless or unstably housed, in order to document the nature and extent of homelessness, and build better understanding about this unique population, guiding strategy around ending youth homelessness.
